AFPAA's 28th Annual Meeting will be held at the La Quinta Inn & Suites — San Antonio River Walk from October 3 to October 5, 2024.
In the heart of San Antonio, just minutes from the charming River Walk and legendary Alamo, the hotel is perfectly located for visits to San Antonio's famed tourist attractions, while offering us easy access to its many military installations. Directly across from the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, the hotel is close by I-37 and US 281 and nine miles from the San Antonio International Airport.
When you're not strolling the River Walk, you'll find the hotel has excellent banquet facilities, productive meeting spaces, an outdoor pool, and a well-equipped fitness center — everything we'll need for a successful and enjoyable annual meeting.
PLEASE NOTE: The special group rate discussed below was only valid through September 12. It is no longer being offered.
For AFPAA members attending the Annual Meeting, the hotel has set aside a block of rooms at the rate of $143.00 per night for a single or double room (plus taxes and fees). The rate is valid through September 12 while rooms are available.
To attend the entire meeting, your hotel reservations should be for the nights of October 3, 4, and 5. The first function on the schedule will be the Icebreaker on Thursday, October 3, and the last function will be the Banquet on the evening of Saturday, October 5. There are no official activities scheduled for Sunday, October 6.
For those who prefer to arrive early or stay after the meeting’s conclusion, the hotel is offering the same $143 (plus taxes and fees) group rate for three nights before and three nights after the meeting. An AFPAA guest could check-in as early as Monday, September 30, or check-out as late as Wednesday, October 9, and still take advantage of our special group rate.
